Our Story

We are a family of four, living and working on our farm, Gumview, in the beautiful Limestone Coast of South Australia.  For several years now we have dreamed of bringing Gumview Grazing to life.  In 2023, South Australian farmers were hit with unrealistic market prices and this was the last little push that we needed to get the ball rolling.  We knew that there was a gap in the market locally, a demand for nutrient dense meat.  We were hearing that the community were growing weary of poor quality meats offered by large supermarket chains.  As a family, we have decided to dive in and supply you all with a great product that we hope you will love and that we are very proud of.

Brett is an 8th generation farmer, born and raised in Padthaway. He has been farming for seventeen years and is responsible for raising our beautiful flock. He enjoys learning about regenerative agriculture and hopes to apply these practices to Gumview in the future. Sallie is a wearer of multiple hats; Homeschool educator/graphic designer/marketing mumma and Gumview Grazing’s Food Safety Supervisor and behind-the-scenes manager. Elliott is our motorbike, ute, tractor driving and homeschooled future farmer. Bonnie is our animal lover and all round helper.  We all bring something special to Gumview Grazing.

When our children were born, it sparked what has been an eye-opening journey of discovery in to our health. We have come to realise that every small change that our family can make to our diets by eating fresh and local produce, contributes to our overall wellbeing. We hope to share this message so that other families can enjoy healthier lives too.  We are so looking forward to meeting you all.
